We are delighted for the first time to offer traditional
English Christmas Plum Puddings.
These puddings have been specially made for the Sticky Toffee Pudding Company in a small bakery in my home town of Kendal in the English Lake District.
These rich dark puddings are full of fruit and nuts enhanced with sherry and brandy. Traditionally served with Christmas dinner the history of the Plum Pudding goes back centuries. In Victorian Britain the tradition of serving the pudding flaming with brandy was introduced. Home-made puddings were a family affair with everyone stirring the mixture. Silver sixpences were put in the mix which was steamed for hours. The person who found the six-pence would have luck for the whole year.
